Sardinia Trekking and Nature

Trekking between Limestone and Granite: Discovering Nurra and Gallura

The rugged and wild nature is the true soul of Sardinia. A territory divided between mountains, hills, and plains. Known worldwide for its coasts and crystal-clear waters, this package of itineraries will let you discover the hidden richness among high limestone cliffs and wind-shaped granite rocks. The millennial isolation has favored the development of rare species and endemisms, among medicinal plants and typically Mediterranean shrubs like strawberry trees, red junipers, and mastic from which excellent oil is produced. A journey that will let you discover Sardinian sub-regions like NURRA and GALLURA. The first is flatter, where the plain contrasts with the coasts characterized by high limestone cliffs offering extremely panoramic excursions. Gallura, on the other hand, is characterized by imposing granite outcrops shaped by the wind over the millennia. This package is also modular and can be combined with other islands.
